Barry Greenstein's pre-tournament strategy for our winner-take-all format could be summed up in a single word: aggression. After all, second place walks away with the same prize as last - zero dollars and a hand shake from the guy who beat you.
Greenstein stuck to his plan, but his aggressive play needed another element, good cards. Benyamine, who got trapped by Sheikhan, joined him at the rail a short time later. Next to go was Mike Matusow, who couldn't outrun his bad luck - even if his mouth did race at 100 miles per hour. So, after just two days it was down to only three players: Sheikhan, Juanda and Cunningham. They duked it out over the remaining episodes until Sheikhan succumbed. Finally, it was Juanda and Cunningham. They pushed and challenged each other with every hand - no matter what they were holding - until Juanda delivered a crippling blow with an Ace-Five and then blew "Clever Piggy's" house down a few hands later with a King-Five. The two men shook hands and Juanda went home with $120,000.
