"GOLDEN MEN"

POKER AFTER DARK IS A FLUSH WITH THE FANS

THE LINEUP

As World Champions, these six men have nothing more to prove for the rest of their careers. When they play, they do it on their terms and they don't engage in taunts or in-your-face head games. So, for coinsures of great poker strategy and gamesmanship, this episode is a feast.
The match started with each man testing the competition, all while keeping their own guards up. As tight tables go, this one played like a drum. No one ran off to a big chip lead, but Raymer got tripped up several times on the way to the river. With his exit, the pace accelerated. Gold went all in several times, losing most of his stack, then winning it back, and finally losing it all to his mentor, Chan. The addition of Gold's chips stoked "The Orient Express'" engine, and he knocked out Seed and Brunson is quick succession. He was on track to do the same to Hachem, but some uncharacteristically passive play gave Hachem the breathing room he needed to regain chip lead and take down the $120,000 prize.
