There was a combustible mixture of pros sitting around our exclusive table already when Negreanu ordered a round of drinks. Negreanu, who had been running over the table, was the next to go, crippled by Laak and sidelined by Hellmuth. Hellmuth's famous tantrums bubbled up when Sheikhan's "donkey" play cost him $10K. Esfandiari eventually silenced him with pocket nines when Hellmuth's A-3 didn't improve. Esfandiari and Laak mixed it up a few hands later with K-8 versus K-Q. Laak caught a second Queen and picked up a huge chip lead. He ended up giving it all away when 9-1 underdog Sheikhan felted a pair of Aces to beat Laak's two Kings.
