THE LINEUP
This week’s match got started with Tom “Durrrr” Dwan, an ultra-aggressive online player, taking control of the table and amassing a big chip lead early in the week. All six players made it to the third night of play, but Andrew “Good2cu” Robl was the first player sent to the rail after being short stacked for much of the match. The card-dead Johnny Chan was next to go when he took a bad beat provided by Doyle Brunson.
One-time chip leader Dwan was the next player out after he decided to donate most of his chips to the Doyle Brunson fund. Doyle had a nice chip lead going into three-handed player versus Huck Seed and Brian “sbrugby” Townsend, which only increased after he managed to knock out Seed. More than a two to one dog heading into heads-up play, Townsend managed to fight back against Brunson, eventually catching a nice run of cards and taking down a Poker After Dark title in his first appearance.
