POKER AFTER DARK IS A FLUSH WITH THE FANS

THE LINEUP

The Tin Man finally found what he was looking for. Mike Matusow, who's more famous for his blow ups than his three gold bracelets, confessed to his shrink/rival Andy Black, "My trouble is I got no heart." Years of sick suck-outs, rail bird taunts, and inner-demons had taken their toll on "The Mouth." PAD even held a special tournament acknowledging that Matusow had not won a PAD title in eight tries. He lost that match and two others before finding that elusive element missing from his game. He paid the price for thinking Black was bluffing. Tomko, who needed ear plugs to play with Matusow, got his pocket Jacks crushed when Black flopped a set of Queens. Black knocked out his third pro, Cunningham, by spiking a third 10 on the river to beat "Clever Piggy's" pocket Queens. Matusow got equally lucky, catching a full house on the river to beat Watkinson's flush. After an insane see-saw heads-up battle, Matusow went from only $3K in chips to win his $120K.
