This week’s players are problem solving machines. Unraveling the riddle of pi might engage their brains, but nothing moves their hearts like a good pre-flop raise. Short stack Sklansky finally seemed to catch fire but his comeback was short lived after Ferguson spiked a King on the river to complete his straight. Chen had the fastest reversal of fortune. He became chip leader then gave it all away two hands later when he flopped two pair, Aces and 3s, against Warren’s set of Aces. Adams made his last stand with a pair of 9s but Ferguson knocked him down with Queens. Warren, who said he has a math mind but plays with his gut, had his insides handed to him by Bloch and Ferguson. Those men met heads up like they did in the 2008 National Heads Up Poker Championship, but this time it was Bloch’s turn to leave with all the money.
