4th place finish at the 2006 WSOP Main Event
Allen Cunningham, known by the nickname "Clever Piggy", is even better known for his fourth-place finish at the 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event, which earned him more than $3.6 million dollars.
Allen was pursuing an engineering degree at UCLA when he found that he had a gift for poker. Playing in local casinos, Allen discovered that he was consistently able to come home with a decent profit. Based on his success, he decided to take a break from higher education in order to try his hand at high-stakes poker. It was a smart decision and he's never looked back.
In just 10 short years, Allen has managed to build up one of the most impressive records of any poker player - living or dead. He has amassed such an amazing number of first- and second-place titles in world championship events that his peers have voted him Best All-Around Player Under 35.
Although Allen is only 29 years old, he has already earned more than $8.3 million in lifetime tournament winnings. What a clever piggy indeed.
