Sam Grizzle is about as seasoned as they come. A veteran poker player, he's seen all the ups and all the downs that come with the lifestyle.
Sam has earned well over $1 million in tournament winnings throughout his career. But as they say, easy come, easy go. Sam is notorious for being staked by other players; when they see him walking up, they know exactly what the first words out of his mouth will be. Sam is known for saying, "You play your money how you want to, and I'll play their money how I want to."
One of the wittiest players in the game, Sam was once voted the funniest player in poker by Card Player magazine. As quick as his wit is, however, his temper might be even faster. Sam is infamous for his confrontations with other players at the table, including his nemesis Phil Hellmuth. The two once even had to take their differences outside, the only fight of the Poker Brat's life. For what it's worth, Sam thinks he plays better the madder he gets.
Known as one of poker's bad boys, Sam doesn't think he's as bad a guy as people say. He now plays poker for his seven year-old daughter, who is the pride and joy of his life.
