Two WSOP bracelets, one WPT title
Hoyt developed his unique style of play while learning the game from his father when he was growing up. He would sit in at his father's home games and play very few hands. Instead, Hoyt studied his father intently and learned that poker was not a game for people who were faint of heart.
Hoyt's aggressive play has paid off in spades for him over the years. He is one of the top tournament players on the circuit and has taken home two WSOP gold bracelets - one for PLO and one for 6-handed NL Hold ‘em. In 2003, Hoyt scored more than $1 million for taking down the WPT World Poker Finals. Aside from his fearless style and ultra-aggressive play, Hoyt is known for wearing earplugs at the table to block out the chatter of his opponents. When he's in the zone, he doesn't want any distractions.
Away from poker, Hoyt lives in Alabama and tends 60 head of cattle. Watch out for this cowboy on Poker After Dark, "Mr. All-In" is sure to shoot down the competition.
