Young Gun
One of the best up-and-comers in the game
One of the most recognized faces in poker, David Williams is the poster boy for a new generation of players - smart, aggressive, and fearless.
A Texas native, David was a 4.0 GPA student and majored in business at SMU. He honed his card playing skills at an early age by playing the game "Magic: The Gathering" in competitions around the world. A top ranked player, David was introduced to poker by his "Magic" peers and instantly took to the new game. He will still play "Magic" for fun on occasion, but poker has proved to be a far more profitable enterprise.
David burst onto the scene in 2004 by finishing second in the WSOP Main Event for a cool $3.5 million. From there, he's gone on to make multiple WPT final tables and won a gold bracelet in the 2006 WSOP Seven-Card Stud event. David has already earned more than $5 million in his career - and he's just getting started!
