Second place at the 2007 World Poker Tour World Championship
If you can't find David Peat at the poker table, try looking for him in the nearest club. Or pool hall. Or anywhere else people are gathered and having a good time.
A well know online player who uses the handle "Viffer," David has also become a fixture on the Las Vegas cash game scene. David freely admits that he likes to party as much as he likes to play poker. And does he like to play, regularly playing ring games with stakes of $300/$600 and higher. Though he's not much of a tournament player, he has racked up more than $277K in winnings at the tournament table, including a second-place finish worth more than $202K at the 2007 WPT World Championship.
Look for David to lighten the mood - and his opponents' pockets - on this week's Poker After Dark.
