More than $2 million in career earnings in just
two years
Tom Dwan is one of the most successful and famous poker players you have probably never heard of. But that's OK, since this 21-year old poker phenomenon does most of his work from the comfort of his living room in Texas where he plays the highest stakes games found anywhere online.
Playing under the online name Durrrr for the past two years, Dwan has quickly become one of the most popular and profitable online players in the world, and can often be found sharing tables with some of the game's biggest names, including Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius, and David Benyamine. At just 21, he's reported to have won more than $2 million in his short career, and once famously pocketed a $200,000 in just 45 minutes while being interviewed by Bluff Magazine.
Recently, Dwan has started taking his game out on the tournament circuit where he's proven that he's just as dangerous when he's sitting at a live table. Since January 2008, he's made four final tables, including a second-place finish at the $25K Five-Star World Poker Classic and two eighth-place finishes at the 2008 World Series of Poker.
