POKER AFTER DARK IS A FLUSH WITH THE FANS

    THE LINEUP

There are only 12 living poker players who have won more than five WSOP gold bracelets, and six of them are at our exclusive table. Together they've won 45 WSOP championships. Phil Hellmuth won his 11th gold bracelet this year, making him the most prolific procurer of WSOP gold. Doyle Brunson owns 10 bracelets. His first was for the 1976 Main Event back when only 22 players were in the tournament. Erik Seidel has eight, which must make his decision to leave professional backgammon feel like the right move. T. J. Cloutier owns six. He would have seven, but Chris Ferguson's Ace-9 beat out his Ace-Queen at the 2000 Main Event. That was Ferguson's second bracelet and he's won three others since then, tying him with Layne Flack. Flack famously won four of his five bracelets in consecutive matches in consecutive years. If you were to ask these pros, to the man they'd say WSOP gold is more precious than the millions they've won. After all, it's the bracelets not the cash that make them part of poker history.
